Places to Stay

Pick by how your group likes to sleep. Thornburg Hall and Kohnjoy Inn have private rooms, the Bacot Center is a whole house with a full kitchen, and the cabins run from classic camp bunks to private bedrooms in the Hill Cabins. Thornburg, Kohnjoy and Bacot each have a room to meet in, so a smaller group may need nothing else.

Places to Meet & Eat

The Faith Center is the largest, and its main room divides for breakouts. Mission Hall, Efird Hall and the Bischoff Center suit a mid-sized group, and the Bischoff Center is usually booked with the Wilderness Cabins next door. Lineberger is the main dining hall. Tell us what a day of your retreat looks like and we'll match the rooms to it.

Worship & the Outdoors

Whisnant Chapel is an open-air chapel under the trees, and Lakeside Lodge is a pavilion by the lake for a picnic or an afternoon outside. Both are open from spring into fall, and both need a reservation.

Tell us about any special diets when you call, and we’ll plan the menu around them.
Meals A trained culinary staff makes sure your meals are both delicious and nutritious.
Special diets Most food allergies and gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian diets can be accommodated, though we can't guarantee every one. Tell us when you book.
Coffee Fair Trade coffee in the dining room and at the coffee stations.
Snacks & receptions Anything from mid-morning bagels and coffee to an evening reception with hors d’oeuvres. Pick from sample menus, or design your own.
