Where it began.
At the start, Pastor Paul Christ served on the team that found the property and on the committee that called Bob Kuehner as its founding director, and Don Rathbun spent the first day at the site chopping through a virgin forest.

Then came the people who made it home.
2014
Joining NovusWay
Luther Springs joined the NovusWay family, and Sarah Anderson, part of the ministry since 2006, became its Operations Director. Today she and Deacon Sue Mendenhall lead the camp together as Co-Executive Directors.
2022
Atonement Chapel
When Atonement Lutheran Church in Orlando closed in 2015, it gave Luther Springs a legacy gift. “Atonement is being re-formed for ministry at Luther Springs,” Pastor Jeff Cox told the congregation. The Atonement Chapel and Meeting Room was dedicated on January 22, 2022.
2023
Macy Kennedy
Macy Kennedy first came to Luther Springs for Campfirmation in sixth grade, with Christ Lutheran in Cape Coral. She came back as a counselor, program coordinator and assistant summer camp director, and in 2023 she was ordained a deacon. Camp, she says, is “the place I can be fully myself.”
