NovusWay Ministries is excited to announce the hire of Jen Bacher as the new Program Director at Lutherock. Jen is an alumnus of Luther Seminary with a Masters of Arts in Children, Youth and Family Ministry. Jen served as Program Coordinator at Lutherock since May of 2019. She is currently in the candidacy process with the North Carolina Synod for ordination as a deacon in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Jen is no stranger to Camp Lutherock. She served five summers on staff including in the role of Program Assistant. Her love of outdoor ministry and the impact it makes in all ages is deep. “Camp is like family, home, and community all rolled into one,” says Bacher. “It has a way of helping us to look at ourselves and see what God sees. I have been tied to this place since my first closing circle in the summer of ‘98, and it is an unbelievable joy and blessing to now be entrusted with this next chapter of Lutherock’s story.
