Volunteer Week At Lutheranch

Volunteer Week at Lutheranch

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who came out to Lutheranch mid-April to participate in Volunteer Week. We had 18 volunteers participate throughout the week along with 4 staff members. Also, we thank Thrivent and those who acquired Thrivent gift cards to help fund our projects and meals for the volunteers. They truly made a difference!

Many projects were completed including the following:
Clearing and marking of a loop trail around Stender Lake, hay was spread on the new Printz Family athletic field (over 3 acres), Holy Trinity House back porch, stairs and railing were cleaned and painted, the barn porch (to be used for equine program) was cleaned, painted and screened and they also built a new canoe/kayak rack and storage cabinet by Stender Lake.

Not only did the group accomplish a lot, they had a fun time getting to know one another and trying new things. It’s amazing what a group of people can do when they work together.
